About

My name is Faith Adesayo Oluwaniyi, and I am a Consultant at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in Lagos, as well as the Founder of Total Success Summit (TSS) — a mentorship program that equips final-year students and recent graduates with job-ready skills. I am a qualified Chartered Accountant, passionate about Africa’s economic development, with strong interests in agricultural transformation, small business growth, and public policy for inclusive prosperity.

I support startup founders with business strategy and practical guidance to help scale their ventures. My areas of expertise include growth strategy, customer differentiation, and impact investing. I am also deeply interested in agricultural development and education, and I bring valuable insights into the Nigerian market.

Mentorship motivation

  • I like to learn about industries and new businesses
  • I want to give back to the startup ecosystem and entrepreneurs coming up

My motivation for becoming a mentor on VC4A is rooted in a deep commitment to supporting the growth of early-stage businesses across Africa. Having worked as a management consultant with the Boston Consulting Group for the past four years, I have supported global and African corporations in developing and executing strategies for growth, operational improvement, and long-term sustainability.

While large corporations often have access to extensive advisory support, many promising startups and SMEs in Africa do not. They are solving real problems but often lack access to structured mentorship that can help them scale effectively and sustainably. VC4A’s mission to connect experienced professionals with emerging entrepreneurs across the continent strongly aligns with my own desire to close this advisory gap and contribute meaningfully to the startup ecosystem.

I am particularly excited about working with founders who are eager to build scalable and investment-ready ventures. I am also keen to support entrepreneurs as they prepare for investor engagement, using insights from my consulting experience to help them articulate their value and growth potential.

Beyond contributing my expertise, I see this as a valuable opportunity to grow as well—by learning from the unique challenges and innovations shaping Africa’s startup landscape. VC4A’s platform not only facilitates meaningful mentorship but also builds a community of people committed to advancing entrepreneurship across the continent. I look forward to being part of that.
